History and business highlights:

In business and in Salem for almost 100 years!
Delande Lighting is family-owned and operated... now in it's FIFTH generation
Founded in 1918 by Ovila Delande and his son, Arthur W. Delande, Sr.
The Delande Supply Company was originally a plumbing business which evolved into converting gas fixtures to electric lights

Original location: 1918-1955 Lafayette Street, downtown Salem
Moved to current location: 1955-present at 22 New Derby Street, Salem
Delande family owns what is now called the DELANDE LIGHTING BUILDING (which also has other small businesses who are tenants within it)
Delande Lighting is a full-service lighting store, including a commercial and industrial side to the business
Delande Lighting (retail division) works with many designers, architects, and electricians, as well as homeowners, of course.
In addition to creative solutions for "homes" in the North Shore and Salem area, Delande also has a large ROSTER of LOCAL BUSINESSES in SALEM that they have designed and furnished with their lighting products (commercial appeal)
