Questions & Answers
Q. How do
I choose the correct size chandelier for a dining room?
A. If you
do not have a table yet, a quick guide is to add the dimensions
of the room together. (ie: 12 x 14 = 26" chandelier) If you do have
your table, you want a chandelier that is approximately 12" narrower
than the width of your table.
Q. Do you have
an eNewsletter?
A. Yes. You
may sign up for it here:
Q. How high
above my table should my fixture hang?
A. In a room
with an 8 ft. ceiling, the bottom of the fixture should be approximately
30" above the table top. If the fixture is an inverted pendant,
raise it up high enough so that you are not looking at the bulbs.
For each foot higher, raise the fixture 3". (ie: on a 10' ceiling,
the fixture should be 36" above the table.
Q. At what height
do I install wall sconces?

be 60" above the floor. Sconces are generally used in pairs or 8'
to 10' apart in a hallway.
Q. What information

A. These four
points:
- Plans (architectural) and/or room dimensions
- Furniture plans
- Special concerns or considerations (usually artwork or adjacent
room (view)
- Color schemes
